The Razorbacks surgically eviscerated the Hornets winning by 35 points and shooting a season best 58% from the floor.
"We shared the ball," freshman guard Anthlon Bell described. "We took high percentage shots. Taking the first good look instead of taking the second bad one."
"It's a real confidence booster," freshman forward Jacorey Williams explained. "I feel like coach got everybody in to try to get everybody ready for conference play."
The Hogs streak into the SEC winners of five straight.
"We've grown as a team," Williams said. "We took a couple bumps with non-conference games this season but I feel like everybody has grown and our defense has gotten better."
"The biggest key for us was to develop our bench and who are those guys going to be," Anderson said. "We get more options. The more options we get, the more cylinders we start clicking on."
Arkansas' first league challenge comes on the road, a place that's been trouble in recent years. Last season, the Razorbacks won just once away from home.
"I think we got more weapons," Anderson said. "I think last year, those kids gave me everything they had. We were limited in some areas. This year, we maybe don't have the experience but at least we're a little bit better prepared."
