Fayetteville-based PR Firm Aquired By Global Company

Major public relations firm Mitchell Communications Group recently announced it was acquired by Dentsu Network.

The Fayetteville-based firm joins the group headquartered out of New York and Tokyo and represents the first step by Denstu into the public relations industry.

Some of Mitchell Communications clients include Walmart, Sam's Club and Tyson Foods along with several others.

Company officials said the move means big things for all involved.

CEO Elise Mitchell said, "We thought this was a great opportunity for us to continue to keep doing what we're doing right here in Northwest Arkansas, but be able to grow and expand to serve our clients needs both nationally and globally."

Mitchell also said the move allows them to offer their clients more resources and technology from around the world.

The company acquiring them, Dentsu Inc., is the No. 1 agency brand in the world.
