AG McDaniel to Meet with Media After Affair

By: JR Davis
Updated: January 8, 2013
Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel, a Democratic candidate for governor in 2014, is set to hold a press conference mid-morning Tuesday at a North Little Rock Hotel.

No public comment has been issued by McDaniel, nor has he made any public appearance since he admitted (back on December 18) to an inappropriate relationship with a Hot Springs attorney.  The subject of the press conference was not made clear in the release sent out Monday, but McDaniel says he plans on staying in the race for governor despite recent events.

McDaniel has been married since 2009.
