Updated: April 17, 2007
Police say the man was driving a truck that was loaded with copper wire and leaving a residential construction site in the middle of the night. They pulled over the truck and arrested the driver after a brief investigation. Police say the copper wire in the back of the truck was stolen from Allen Caning Company. They are currently investigating to see if the suspect is linked to other copper thefts in Washington and Benton county.
