And They're Off! Ponies Running Again at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs

Live racing is back at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs.

The racetrack's opening day today features nine races as the 56-day meet kicks off.

Post time was one o'clock, with horses in the last race expected to cross the finish line around five o'clock.

The horses will run every Thursday - Sunday, with the season wrapping up on Saturday, April 13.

Oaklawn will also have live racing on Monday, January 21, Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Monday, February 18, President's Day.
