Prostitution Sting Leads to 10 Arrests

An undercover sting operation conducted by Rogers Police led to 10 arrests for prostitution.
The operation focused on people who were willing to pay for sexual activity or charge a fee in exchange for sexual activity.
According to police, detectives placed ads on a social media website and met with the people who responded at a local hotel.
As a result, six men were arrested for sexual solicitation and four women for prostitution. All were given citations.
According to Rogers Police, advertising for prostitution on social media sites is a growing trend nationwide.
Rogers Police routinely perform these types of stings. The last such operation was in 2011.

Mark Lacario Paskel, 23 of Springdale, Sexual Solicitation and Possession of Controlled Substance;


John Lee Martin Jr., 58 of Rogers, Sexual Solicitation and Possession of Controlled Substance;


Vanessa Nicole Minarik, 31 of Rogers, Prostitution;


Sandra Louise Gabbard, 41 of Seligman, Missouri, Prostitution;


Lauren Raylynn Wilson, 34 of Moore, Oklahoma, Prostitution and Theft of Property; and


Lindsay Noell Lovell, 20 of Ft Smith, Prostitution;
