Number 9 - "Sex and Candy" by Marcy Playground
Released in 1997, it was the band's breakthrough single and the lead single on their self titled album.

Number 8 - "Achey Brakey Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus
We all know is daughter is more than a one hit wonder, but her dad, Billy Ray, really only had the one smash hit but it certainly was a big one. Released in 1992, Billy Ray didn't actually write the song, it was written by Don Von Tress and recorded by The Marcy Brothers in 1991 but no one noticed until Billy Ray got his country paws on it, and history was made.

Number 7 - "Mambo #5" by Lou Bega
Everyone knows this one, released in 1999, the song was originally a hit in 1949. It's popularity was renewed when Lou Bega sampled it in his debut album.

Number 6 - "What is Love" by Haddaway
This early 90's one hit wonder blew up thanks to the famous SNL skit - turned movie - featuring Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan as "The Roxbury Guys".  Just try not to bob your head during this one.

Number 5 - "Cotton-Eyed Joe" by The Red-Nex
This school dance staple was released in 1994. This version of the song was the most popular, but the song itself has been around since 1985. The song has inspired a popular line dance that everyone has tried to do at least once in their life.

Number 4 - "Jump Around" by House of Pain
This one released in 1992, became an instant hit and reached number three on the charts. VH1 even put the song as number 24 on their list of the greatest songs of the 90's.

Number 3 - "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice
This one hit wonder, released in 1990, is famous for using the baseline from "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie, causing a bit of tension between the artists. "Ice Ice Baby" is the first hip hop song to hit number one on the billboard charts.

Number 2 - "Macarena" by Los del Rio
This 1994 one hit wonder became an international hit with the dance to accompany it. VH1 put this one as their number one "one-hit-wonder" of all time, but we think one song has it beat.

Number 1 - "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix a Lot
This 1992 hit spurred a lot of controversy for it's lyrics, mostly about certain anatomy of the female body, and the song seemed to encourage a certain kind of dance that could be seen as offensive.
