Dangerous Situations Across the Country in Friday's Edition of "The Pulse"

Some serious news in The Pulse tonight as a man tries to get a woman ran over by a subway train and an American is on trial in Iran, facing death. Here is Friday's edition of "The Pulse".
Hostages in Algeria
Terrifying details about a hostage situation in Algeria are coming out, as about 650 hostages are freed. Some say they had explosives strapped to their necks. Some had to disguise themselves to escape. At least twelve hostages have been killed, since a military operation which started yesterday to free them. There is conflicting information about if the operation is still ongoing
Subway Attack
Authorities in Philadelphia have arrested a man suspected of throwing a woman on subway tracks. This surveillance video shows the man walk up to the woman sitting on a bench, repeatedly hit her, then pull her of the bench by her feet and throw her onto the tracks. The woman was able to pull herself to safety and only suffered minor injuries.
Te'o Update
Pressure continues to mount for Te'o to explain the inconsistencies between the very public love story of his fake girlfriend and his statement claiming he'd never actually met her. Te'o's father is standing beside him, saying he'll give him the benefit of the doubt before assuming he's lying.
Armstrong
Calling himself a bully, lance armstrong finally opened up about using performance-enhancing drugs, after years of denials. Armstrong kept his emotions in check as he described years of cheating, lying and attacking those who would dare doubt him. Armstrong has been stripped of his tour de france titles and an olympic bronze medal. The second part of the interview airs tonight.
Idaho Pastor
An Idaho pastor is set to stand trial in iran for allegedly trying to convert Muslims to Christianity. If convicted, the Boise man faces the death penalty. Friends and family hope international pressure can be brought to bear but a Washington D.C. human rights group says the United States Government is dragging its feet.
