The Springdale Police and Fire Committee will meet Tuesday to discuss the recent decision to end police escorts for funerals.

Committee Chairman Eric Ford called for the meeting Monday at the request of Councilmember Jim

The Springdale Police Department announced the end of the funeral escort program last week, citing department resources and community safety.
