By: Channing Barker
Updated: January 25, 2013
On Friday, the department was on standby in case of any slick spots that may be on Benton County roads.

"We sent some guys out just to check roads this morning. Bridges, overpasses, just the mist did not freeze. The moisture was not like we thought it would be when we got up this morning," said Jack Brown with Benton County Road Department.

Brown said the department will be ready if needed for the next storm.
