Since 2008 the Chase Family Foundation has been helping across Northwest Arkansas with several different causes.

Whether it is donating money or gifts, the foundation has helped countless people at women's shelters, homeless shelters, senior centers and animal shelters.

Susan Chase, the founder of the foundation, said, " It just touches your heart so much, It's unbelievable. I help the homeless because I almost lost my home. My ex-husband beat me, broke my jaw and almost killed me. That's why I like to help the women's shelter.

"You have no idea how many people need help in Northwest Arkansas and they're needing it badly," said

John Bakker of the Foundation.

This year the Chase Family Foundation hopes to help even more than they did last and are grateful that they can help fill the gap to those in need.

Chase said, "To be honored enough to be able to help people, the joy you get from that is just amazing."

"We're making a difference in a lot of people's lives and that's good," added

Bakker.
