Disney Expanding Star Wars on Wednesday's Edition of "The Pulse"

Monopoly adds another piece and Disney is taking the Star Wars movies a step further. Here is Wednesday's edition of "The Pulse".

Monopoly
The iron's out and the cat's in as the classic Monopoly board game is getting an updated token. Toymaker, Hasbro, launching a 'Save the Token' campaign last month on Facebook. The iron being forced into retirement, after getting only 8% percent of fan votes. The shoe and wheelbarrow, also at the bottom of the list, while 'Scottie the dog' received the most support.

Disney and Star Wars
Disney is expanding the galaxy far, far away! First, they announced a new Star Wars trilogy. Now, they've unveiled plans for two, stand-alone spinoff movies. Each of the Star Wars spinoffs will be written around a specific character. At this point, they're scheduled to be released after episode 7. That's due out in the summer of 2015.

Solomon Islands Earthquake
A powerful earthquake off the Solomon Islands generated a tsunami of up to five feet, damaging dozens of homes and killing at least five people in the South Pacific island chain. Four villages on Santa Cruz were reportedly hit by the waves, with two facing severe destruction, leaving between seventy to eighty homes destroyed.

Boy Scouts
The Boy Scouts of America delaying a decision on whether to allow openly gay people to become members. The group saying they will now take up the issue at their National meeting in May. Boy scout leaders are considering one idea to let local scout masters decide for themselves whether to allow gay people to join.

USPS
The US Post Office is cutting back, again. Facing massive debt and a declining need for service, the agency is announcing it will only deliver first class mail on weekdays. The post office says the move will save them two billion dollars a year.
