Springdale Police are looking for a man they say posed as an attorney and conned non-English speaking members of the community.
In November of 2012, police were informed by a Springdale resident that a man, later identified as 51-year-old Anthony Calderon, was impersonating an attorney and targeting non-English speakers for fraud.
Police say Calderon even went so far as to appear in various courts as an attorney representing some of his victims.
Police have since interviewed several of Calderon's other victims- many of them undocumented aliens-who say they paid money to Calderon believing he was a licensed attorney.
Calderon is wanted for felony theft of property by deception.
Springdale Police are still looking for additional victims or anyone who may have information on Anthony Calderon's whereabouts.
If you have any information on this case, call the Springdale Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division at (479) 750-8139 or you can make an anonymous tip by calling the Springdale P.D. Tip Line at (479) 750-4484.
