UA Faculty Votes Against Concealed Weapons on Campus

By: KNWA News
Updated: February 13, 2013
The University of Arkansas Faculty Senate met Wednesday and supported the Student Government's decision not to allow concealed weapons on campus.
One Senate member described the vote as an overwhelming "yes" from the faculty senators supporting a resolution that would make no changes to the University's current policy which does not allow weapons on campus.
The faculty senate's vote comes just a day after a symbolic Student Government Vote that also opposed State Legislature efforts to allow concealed weapons on campus.
