Want a fun and creative way to help out a good cause?

The local art studio Painting With a Twist is having an event this Sunday, Feb. 24, called "Painting With a Purpose."

The studio invites you to register for art classes and a silent auction benefiting the American Cancer Society.

The event is in memory of owner Susan Jean's father, who passed way last February of stomach cancer.

Classes are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The costs range from $35-45 each, and all supplies are included.

Painting With a Twist is located in the Evelyn Hills shopping center in Fayetteville.
