How to Report Power Outages in Bentonville

By: Lisa Mendenhall
Updated: February 19, 2013

With winter weather headed our way Wednesday, the City of Bentonville is getting the word out about how to report power outages.

If you need to report an outage after 4:00 p.m., the city asks that you please do NOT call 911 or police or fire dispatch!!

Call 1-800-286-1262.

Calling this number will put you in touch with an operator who can record your outage.

You may also be able to use the automated system to record your outage.

The city asks that you please be patient because there are only 20 lines available for each service at a time.

You can also report an outage on your cell phone or tablet.

Just go to the City of Bentonville homepage and click on the "Report Power Outages" button towards the middle of the page.

This will bring up a map showing the current outages (in red).

If your address is included in a "red" area, we know you're out of power and are either currently en route or are already on site beginning to repair the system.

Even if you are in the "red" area, Bentonville would still like to report your outage (the more we have, the easier it is to diagnose the problem).

Above the map is a button that will allow you to report the outage via the web.

Your phone number must be on file at City Hall.

If your phone number is not on file, you must have your account number or meter number.

Again, please do NOT call 911 or police or fire dispatch to report a power outage.

Call 1-800-286-1262.
