No More Hotmail
Microsoft announced late Monday that it is killing Hotmail and moving all of those email users to its new outlook.com free email service. Hundreds of millions of Hotmail users will have their accounts migrated to the now six month old outlook.com by this summer.

Masked thieves stole 50 million dollars worth of diamonds from an airport in Belgium. An airport spokesman says it took eight thieves just three minutes to grab the diamonds from the cargo hold of a plane. The jewels were being flown to Switzerland, police are looking into an inside job.

Oscar Pistorius
Oscar Pistorius is in a South African court, seeking bail after being arrested and charged with premeditated murder of his girlfriend. In court, Pistorius is claiming he killed her by mistake, confusing her for an intruder, but prosecutors say there's no evidence to back that up. A conviction of premeditated murder carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison in South Africa. The hearing resumes Wednesday.

Spending Cuts
President Obama, working to reduce the deficit before forced spending cuts take effect in March. If the cuts become a reality, Obama says they will hurt the economy and put even more Americans into unemployment. Both Republicans and Democrats must agree on a plan to reduce the deficit before the deadline.
