Little Rock Named Among Best Places in U.S. to Retire

Another Arkansas city has been ranked among the best in the country.

According to Forbes.com, Little Rock is one of the 25 best place to retire in the United States.

The rankings took into consideration cost of living, taxes, weather, air quality, doctor availability, crime rates and active-lifestyle rankings for bicycling and volunteering. The website says it also considered the Milken Institute's latest ranking of "Best Cities for Successful Aging."

The website lists the pros of retiring in Little Rock as low cost of living, median home price $144,000, good weather, abundant doctors and high Milken Institute aging rank.

The article lists below-average air quality and crime as cons.
