Updated: February 28, 2013
Friday, March 1st, Fort Smith police will hold free car seat check-ups in the Target parking lot.

It's part of a three day class to certify officers as child safety seat technicians.

And they want to practice!

So drop by between 3 to 5 p.m. to make sure your child's car seat is correctly installed.

There will also be a limited number of car seats available to those who need one.
