Arkansas State Basketball Tournament Round Up

The Fort Smith Southside Lady Rebels over came a 10 point deficit in the first quarter to knock off number 1 seed Little Rock Central Friday in the 7A state tournament in Fayetteville.  Senior Drew Jones scored 12 of her 17 points in the 2nd half to lead Southside to the win and avenge a 14 point loss to Central earlier in the season. 

Southside, 21-8, joins Fort Smith Northside in the semi finals on Saturday in Fayetteville.  The Lady Bears defeated Rogers 61-44 and face North Little Rock at 12noon Saturday with a trip to the state championship game on the line, Southside will play Springdale Har-ber at 7:00p in the other semi final match up.
