NWA Teams Seeking Basketball Championships

The Fayetteville High School boys basketball team will leave for the 7A state championship game in Little Rock Friday morning and the school is asking fans to help send them off in style.The Fayetteville Police Department will escort them from the high school to the city limits at 8 am Friday morning.
Fans are being asked to gather along Razorback Road near Baum stadium to give the team a proper send-off.
They'll face North Little Rock for the title Saturday at Barton Coliseum. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:15 pm.
Fans who are unable to attend the game can follow the action at fearlessfriday.com
Fayetteville Public Schools will also post live game updates to their twitter and Facebook pages.
Fayetteville's boys aren't the only Northwest Arkansas team seeking a championship this weekend.
Prairie Grove's Girls will face off against Malvern Saturday for the 4A State Title. They tip off at 11 am Saturday.
And it'll be Northside vs. Southside Friday for the Girl's 7A State Title. The two teams out of Ft. Smith are scheduled to tip off at 5:15 Friday at Barton Coliseum.
