30 People Arrested at One Party in Van Buren

Van Buren Police say that around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning
officers were called to the 700 Block of Adeline Drive beacause of a loud party.When police arrived several people ran into the home and alcholo containers were scattered outside the house, says Detective Jonathan Wear.
Police say that there were several drunk adults and juveniles between the ages of 14 and 30. A large amount of alcohol and some pot was also found, says Detective Wear.
Of the 30 people arrested:
10 charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
10 charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and public intoxication.
10 charged with minor in possession of alcohol and public intoxication.
According to Arkansas statute 5-27-209 a person commits the offense of contributing to the delinquency of a minor if, being an adult, the person knowingly aids, causes, or encourages a minor to do any act prohibited by law.
Four other people were arrested over the weekend in Van Buren for driving while intoxicated.
