Monday's Edge List: Top 5 Buzzer-Beating Shots

Number Five -- Georgia Tech V. USC
James Forrest, in his only three-point shot of the year, brings home the win for Georgia Tech in the second round of the 1992 NCAA tournament. The ball left Forrest's hands and got nothing but net.

Number Four -- UConn V. Washington
In 1998, Richard Hamilton's shot advanced UConn in the NCAA tournament, sending Washington packing. The managed to get the shot despite the chaos and that he was falling backwards at the time.

Number Three -Duke V. Kentucky
Christian Laettner got the last shot in this 1992 NCAA tournament game, advancing Duke past Kentucky in this epic battle. Laettner's buzzer-beater allowed Duke to win by one point, Duke would go on to win the national championship that season.

Number Two -- N.C. State and Houston
In the 1983 NCAA tournament against N.C. State and Houston. N.C. State was the underdog. One underdog player, Lorenzo Charles, got a lucky break when he was able to grab a desperate shot from his teammate and put up a shot that allowed N.C. State to come home with the title.

Number One --Ole Miss V. Valparaiso
Bryce Drew shot his way into NCAA history in 1998 when he scored the winning shot against Ole Miss to win the NCAA tournament. Valparaiso completed a long court pass with 2.5 seconds left in the game, and hit a three pointer to win by one point.
