Bella Vista`s own self proclaimed Arkansas Inspector General, Jim Parsons, believes former governor Mike Huckabee may have destroyed public information right before leaving office. Parsons has filed a complaint with the Arkansas Ethics Commission and now an investigation is underway. Huckabee is accused of having 83 hard drives crushed at a cost of $13,000. A cost that tax payers paid, according to Parsons. Now the Bella Vista man awaits information from Ouachita Baptist University on whether any of the data stored on those hard drives was sent to the school. Parson`s plans to use the Freedom of Information act to obtain that information, but Ouachita Baptist may not be subject to FOI requests.
