The incident reportedly occurred when a northbound vehicle driven by Thomas J. Land, 15, of Cabot, failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road, and flipped several times before landing in a ditch. The accident reportedly occurred about 12:30 p.m. about four miles north of Bradford.
A passenger - 14-year-old Daniel L. Borden, of Bradford - died in the accident, police said. Land and another passenger - six-year-old Timothy L. Mount, of Bradford - both were reportedly injured.
