Arkansas will become one of 15 states to participate in a program to improve community college graduation rates.
The Natural State was invited to join the program this month called "Achieving the Dream," which aims to help students earn a degree.
According to the Department of Higher Education, only about 21% of Arkansas community college students enrolled in 2003 completed a degree.
Out of the 20 Arkansas colleges qualified to participate in the program, four will be chosen.
