The city of Springdale is splitting construction of its new baseball stadium into six different contracts to ensure the project is completed on time. City planners say dividing the work will make construction move much faster. Developers say construction must be completed by March first of 2008. The site preparation is already underway by one construction company. The next phase of the project will be to widen surrounding streets and build a parking lot.
