Around 2 AM Fayetteville fire fighters arrived to put out a fire at the apartment complex's club house. Unfortunately yellow tape has become a common sight at this complex, formerly known as the Law Quad, with three murders in the past year and now this, some residents are wondering, what's next? "I just kind of thought oh, here we go again. It seems like this place is jinxed, every time you turn around there's something happening," says three year resident Ed Schwass. Apartment residents have had a tough year, last April, 22-year-old Nina Ingram was found strangled to death in her apartment...and earlier this month, twenty four year olds Kevin Barkley Jones and Kendall Rachel Rice were found shot to death in their apartment. Schwass says he takes extra steps to stay safe now. "I do keep a loaded gun. I've got a handgun permit, not because of this, I just happen to have one, but I didn't keep the gun loaded before, after that I did." The fire department says the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
