Arkansas Soldier Killed In Iraq

Another Arkansas soldier has been killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Sargent William W. Bushnell of Jasper, died Saturday in Baghdad, when his vehicle was hit by a rocket propelled grenade. Bushnell was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Bliss, Texas. The 24 year old was an Infantryman who entered the Army October 16, 2002. He was posthumously awarded the bronze star and the purple heart.
