Gas prices at Murphy's USA on Joyce St. in Fayetteville went up 13 cents over night. We called Murphy's USA to find out why their gas prices went up so much in just 24 hours.

Murphy reps would only tell us the wholesale cost of gasoline went up and they responded with higher gas prices.

Ironcially the lowest gas price in the state is from another murphys usa in jonesboro at $2.59. The state average is $2.73. Anaylysts say gas prices are up just over 8 cents from two weeks ago. The national average is $2.87.
