A man from Montgomery County filed suit against the University of Arkansas' President and Chancellor for the way they handled a critical email. Razorback fan John Terry is suing Chancellor John White and President Alan Sugg over how they handled an email written to a former Razorback player.

Sugg and White are being sued by John Terry, an alum and lifelong Razorback fan. Terry claims Chancellor White didnt properly investigate an email written by Teresa Prewett. If you recall, Prewett wrote an email to Mitch Mustain calling him the interception king.

Terry didnt want to go on camera, but his lawyer Eddie Chrisitan Jr. talked with us about the lawsuit. Terry blames Chancellor White for failing to carry out his responsibilities under his contract to the U of A. Christian told us through various emails and text messages, it appears Prewett had inside knowledge of the U of A football program.
Christian told us they dont believe the U of A made any effort to investigate this situation.

Terry doesnt think Sugg did anything wrong. He's named as a party so that if the court determines White hasnt performed his duties, Terry would ask the court to order Sugg to stop paying White's salary.

The University responded to the lawsuit with this statement "It is disappointing that more University resources and taxpayer dollars will be expended to address rumors and accusations involving the Athletic Department, which is a self-supporting entity. Although the defendants have not yet been formally served with court papers, we strongly believe that this is a frivolous lawsuit having no merit whatsoever, and the university will defend against it vigorously."
