(Benton County) One person was killed and three others injured in a two-vehicle collision this morning in Benton County.
The crash reportedly occurred about 8:15 a.m. when a car south on Highway 43 near Cherokee City went out of control and slid sideways into the path of an oncoming pickup truck.
The driver of the car - 64-year-old Nancy Yoder of Maysville - was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers - Amber Yoder and Tamara Yoder - both of Maysville - were injured, police said.
The driver of the pickup - 38-year-old Buffy D. Strickland of Jay, Oklahoma - was also hurt.
