(Cabot, AR) -- It was back to the lockup for former Lonoke Police Chief Jay Campbell and his wife, Kelly, on Tuesday. A judge revoked the couples appeal bonds, meaning they will remain behind bars while their convictions are appealed. Attorneys for both sides dont believe the revocation of the bonds were connected to the pair testing positive for drugs after being sentenced last week. Rather, they suspect it had to do with the states appellate rules regarding the risk of flight by a convicted felon. The Campbells were convicted following a corruption investigation that linked them to drugs, sex and abuse of an inmate labor program.
