Accusations Against Little Rock Schools Superintendent

(Little Rock, AR) -- Details are emerging about what has Little Rock School Superintendent Roy Brooks in trouble with the school board. In one instance, Brooks is accused of doling out unauthorized pay raises to some of the districts personnel. But Brooks calls the allegation false, saying he had board approval and that such raises were within the scope of his authority. Brooks is also accused of insubordination for not immediately reinstating an employee board President Katherine Mitchell told him to do and withholding information about the districts restructuring.
