A Scott County man has pleaded guilty, after deputies found several dead or starving horses on his property.
Jerry Don Hattabaugh entered the plea Tuesday to several animal cruelty charges. Deputies say they found six horses dead and 29 starving, and seized seven of them. Hattabaugh faced up to eight years in prison, but will spend four days in jail as part of the plea agreement.
