The driver of a tractor-trailer reported being shot at by a passing vehicle along K-17 on Thursday evening.
Duane Brown, 52, of Farmington, was headed south on K-17 when the window on the drivers side was shattered from the shot.
Brown was reportedly fired at by a white male that was part of a group of three young men in a small black pickup.
Officials investigating the report say the shot might have come from an air gun or a paintball gun loaded with marbles.
Brown did not suffer any injuries.
