Veterans Home Hoping To Fill Space

The Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs wants to hire additional staff before filling a second floor with residents. The home is designed to house 108 veterans on two floors of the former Washington Regional Medical Center facility. The fifth floor of the building is almost full, with 38 patients, and the agency wants to staff and open the sixth floor to accept more residents.
