After time spent on the run, a Bentonville man will now spend time behind bars.
Dustin Eugene Chandler,34, pleaded guilty to several drug charges and failure to appear. He was supposed to be in court in March, but didnt show up. Turns out, Chandler skipped town, ending up in the Central American country Belieze, where a bondsman found him. Chandler was arrested and brought back to Benton County, where he was sentenced to 24 years in prison. He must serve at least 17 before he will be eligible for parole.
