
The person police say is responsible for an accident that sent four people to the hospital has been released from jail. After refusing a
breathalyzer test, 36-year-old Susan Marshall-Free was arrested for DWI and failure to yeild after hitting a University of Arkansas Safe Ride van overnight. According to Fayetteville Police, around midnight, Free drove through a stop sign and ran into the van on Maple Street, injuring everyone inside. The victims were treated for minor cuts and bruises and head, back and neck trauma and released from a nearby hospital. Safe Ride is program at the university that encourages students to avoid drinking and driving through a free ride home.
