Huckabee Announces Plans For South Carolina Trip

     Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee continues to campaign for the 2008 presidential election. His office released the following plans for an upcoming trip to South Carolina:

Saturday, May 12, 2007
2pm - 5pm ET - Attends the Dodge Avenger 500 at Darlington Raceway, located at 1301 Harry Byrd Hwy in Darlington, SC.
Huckabee will be joined by former SC Governor David Beasley, former NC Congressman Bill Cobey, and National Senior Advisor for Huckabee in SC, Mike Campbell.

6:00pm ET - Greets crowd at the 'Bluegrass on the Waccamaw' Festival at Riverfront Park, located at Second Avenue & Main Street, beneath the Waccamaw River Bridge in Conway, SC.

7pm - 9pm ET - Attends a private barbecue hosted by former SC First Lady Iris Campbell at DeBordieu Beach in Georgetown, SC. By invitation only.

Monday, May 14, 2007
6:30am ET - Participates in 'Fun Run' down Main Street in Columbia, SC. Huckabee and his fellow runners will run down Main Street to the South Carolina State Capitol and around the University of South Carolina's Horseshoe. The run will originate and end at the Columbia Marriott, 1200 Hampton Street, Columbia.

11am ET - Gives keynote speech at a luncheon hosted by Greenville Congressman Bob Inglis at the Poinsett Club located at 807 E. Washington Street in Greenville, SC. This event is open to the press.

12pm ET - Meets with South Carolina Evangelical leaders over lunch at the Poinsett Club in Greenville, SC. This event is open to the press. 1pm ET - Speaks to the Greenville First Monday Republican Club at the Main Bar of the Poinsett Club in Greenville, SC. The Greenville First Monday Club consists of Republican leaders. The event is open press.

2pm - 2:30pm ET - Hosts informal media availability at the Poinsett Club in Greenville, SC.

5:30pm - Attends the SC GOP Silver Elephant Reception at the Columbia Convention Center, located at 1101 Lincoln Street in Columbia, SC.

Tuesday, May 15, 2007
Morning / afternoon - Debate preparation. 9pm ET - Participates in the South Carolina 2008 Presidential Debate, hosted by the South Carolina Republican Party. The debate will be held at the University of South Carolina's Koger Center for the Arts in Columbia, SC.

11pm ET - Attends post-debate reception hosted by Huckabee for President supporters and accompanied by live music at MacDougall's Restaurant located at 902 F Gervais Street in Columbia, SC. By invitation only.
