Officials say the negligent homicide charges against 65 year old David Orman were dropped after prosecutors found out the teenagers were in the road at the time of the crash.
Ormans pickup struck and killed Christopher Welch and Kimberly Benck, both 17, and hit Clinton Barker, 15, who suffered minor injuries in the June 29 crash.
A civil suit against Orman on behalf of Bencks estate is pending tonight.
