Mistaken Identity In Murder Case?

By: Jennifer Griggy
Updated: May 14, 2007
(Dermott, AR) -- A triple slaying over the weekend left a young Arkansas mother and her two children dead of gunshot wounds, and they may not have been the intended victims. The father of 23-year-old Amber Shields says his daughter had recently switched bedrooms with her roommate, Anna Maufus, at a home in Dermott. It was Maufuss ex-husband, 41-year-old Paul Bo Young, who allegedly opened fire early Saturday morning in the house and took his life during a standoff with police that afternoon.
