A trial has been rescheduled for a Fayetteville woman accused of killing a child. 23-year-old Lorita Lanej would have faced capital murder charges in court Monday, but prosecutors delayed the trial because they're waiting on information from the state crime lab. Police believe she abused the 23-month-old last November which resulted in his death. If convicted, Lanej could face life in prison or the death penalty.
