Regular vs. Premium Gas

Gas prices are outrageous and many drivers dont want to pay the high prices, especially the price for premium gas.
The major difference between premium and regular gas is their ratings. Mike, a mechanic at the Grease Pig, told us the higher the rating, the slower gas burns.
Premium is recommended in some cars because of higher compression engines. They have to have a slower burning fuel.
If your car requires premium but you want to save some money, Mike told us pumping regular a few times wont hurt it.
The major exception are cars with turbo, they must take premium at all times.
