Wal-Mart Lawsuit

(Little Rock, AR) A federal judge has opened the door for a large class-action law suit against Wal-Mart. U.S. District Judge Bill Wilson Jr. ruled that all black applicants living in the continental United States who were denied truck driving jobs since Sept. 22, 2001 are an official "class" in legal terms. That group is expected to number up to 10,000 in a case charging that Wal-Mart policies were racially discriminating. The class could then sue in seeking back pay.
