At Car Wars in Springdale you can get just about any kind of vehicle you want, but with high gas prices on everyone's minds, we found many people are looking for cars with better mileage. "Just something to get a little bit better gas mileage than what I've been driving. I spend about $260-$280 a month on gas and if I could cut that in half it would be good," said Clif Pearcy, who drives a Ford Explorer. Dan Salsbury is looking to move his wife from a Chevy Tahoe to something a little lighter on his check-book. "It's always fun to drive the big cars but you can't, our fuel bill is like $120 a week so it gets pretty expensive." In fact, so many people are now overlooking SUV's, dealers are slashing prices and offering gas incentives. "I filled up this morning-- it was $73 to fill up the pickup, that's putting the squeeze on everybody so the dealerships out here are getting more aggressive just to try to make a car deal," said David Rathjen with Fayetteville Auto Park. But the move from big to small isn't always easy. "It's going to be weird getting into something where your rear's a little low to the ground, but I need to do something," Pearcy said.
