A Razorback signee was shot early Thursday morning in downtown Little Rock. Kevin Hubbard signed to play football for Arkansas in 2005, but instead, the six-foot-three defensive end went to Independence Community College in Kansas the next year.
Police say the shooting happened outside of Juanita's Restaurant around 2:00 a.m. when someone fired shots that hit Hubbard and killed 24-year-old Crystal Heard. Hubbard's family say he's still in the hospital but is expected to recover.
