Wreck on I-540 Kills Two

carcrash2007-05-18-1179504988.jpgTwo people are dead today after a serious accident yesterday on Interstate 540. This is the second deadly accident this week. It happened in Lowell, and according to a State Police Report, Carmen Pina was driving a Trailblazer headed north when she lost control, drove onto the median and flipped, before ending up in the southbound lane. The Trailblazer hit a GMC pick-up truck head-on, killing the driver, Bobby Bowen of Springdale, as well as a passenger in the Trailblazer, Victor Gonzales-Sanchez, also of Springdale. Pina and a passenger in the pick-up truck were both injured. The wreck is still under investigation.
