Police in Arkansas and Oklahoma have arrested several people for illegal cockfighting and gambling around noon Saturday near Cedarville, Arkansas. Cedarville is in Crawford County, near the Oklahoma border. Investigators say there was a large building on the property equipped with fighting pits and designed to accommodate spectators. At least 70 felony arrests were made this weekend. USDA authorities are in the process of euthanizing a large number of fighting cocks that were seized during the raid.
