OK Colleges Take Fridays Off

Some Oklahoma universities are giving students more free time. A handful of colleges, like Carl Albert State College in Poteau, are taking Fridays off this summer to save money on natural gas and electric bills. The University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond has already test-driven the plan, and saved about $45,000.
